So, I’ve taken the plunge in the DCS sale and bought the Dassault Mirage 2000C. I have to say it is absolutely amazing to fly and not too hard to get to grips with – especially if you have a HOTAS.
I’ll see if I can put a track together for the site, but in essence it is the first fly-by-wire aircraft in the DCS World. It’s so precise to fly, it’s able to outfly a most of the other aircraft that are available. There are one or two issues with the long range missiles at the moment, but that is being fixed. You get in close though and you’re at least on a par with anything.
It’s fully modelled, so not like the more basic Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft, the systems are fully functional and clickable. Flying through the valleys at over Mach 1 is pretty stunning, just have to hope that you don’t encounter any SAMs or AAA! Fighters you can deal with!
