Our processes are under review at the moment, but we no longer operate a dedicated OTU process. We offer mutual support to help to learn to fly the different aircraft with different members having specialisms in different modules and skills. We run a training night every third-Thursday of the month to try and keep up to date with new systems introduced in DCS updates.

The main aircraft we focus on as a group are:

  • F/A-18 Hornet
  • AV8B Harrier
  • Supermarine Spitfire
  • P-47D Thunderbolt
  • F-16
  • F-14

It is not a requirement to own all of these modules, but it would help to have at least one of them. We also run regular missions from the DCS Super Carrier module on the Persian Gulf and Syria maps. We do also run with other modules such as the A-10C (both models), Huey, Gazelle and Mi-8.

We have three main flying nights:

  • Monday 19:00 UK local time
  • Thursday 20:00 UK local time
  • Sunday 20:00 UK local time

We’re mostly based in Europe, with the a couple of pilots in the US. We mostly fly in DCS, but have been in and out of the IL2 Great Battles series.

Alongside contacting us if you could fill in the linked survey that would give us a good indication of your modules and preferences.
