A bit of humour for a change

A friend sent me this link to a video of an advert by French TV company Canal Plus to promote the showing of Dunkirk and other films on their channel.

At a period when we will be celebrating the RAF centenary this is a very light hearted look at Britains iconic Spitfire and its glorious fighter pilots. Sorry, old chap !

While we’re on the subject of humour and looking forward to the launch of IL2 Battle of Bodenplatte, I picked up this small phrase from WW2dbase :

The Griffon-powered Spitfire fighters were so lethal that German Luftwaffe General Adolf Galland noted that “[t]he best thing about the Spitfire Mk XIV was that there were so few of them ».

Topsy is fairly new to multiplayer on-line flight simulation and earned his "wings" in mid 2016. He still gets shot down too easily, but is slowly getting better.
